Currently replacing client platform (a mix of RoR, PHP, MySQL, SOAP, HTML frames) with a modular, standards compliant, rich web application, utilizing the following technologies: Zend Framework, jQuery, RESTful architecture. Developed several web applications to automate processes previously done by hand.

Jun 07 to Feb 08 - Lead Developer, BigCarrot LLC, NY, NY [bigcarrot.com]
Sole developer in a fast-paced Internet start up. Designed an Object Oriented PHP framework utilizing MVC patterns based on a patent pending system for authoring, contributing to and resolving inducement prizes. Designed several custom features: a wiki-like revision tracking system, user profile creation and administration, user account privilege system, email notifications for site events, file upload and storage administration and a dynamic URI system using Apache's mod_rewrite. Modified the Lussumo Vanilla forum for business use, extending the platform to support XML-RPC transactions. BigCarrot launched on Dec 14, 2007.

Jul 06 to Jun 07 - Developer, Innovation Ads, NY, NY [innovationads.com]
Developed web applications for the tracking and managing various business aspects of a lead generating online advertising agency. Implemented a network offer management system, delivering online advertisements to network affiliates based on eCPM performance utilizing AJAX patterns. Redesigned the referral tracking system, which allowed company executives to track referral counts by domain and search engine queries. Administered and modified several Drupal deployments.

Managed six peer advisers, interviewed new hires, scheduled work assignments and reviewed adviser performance. Provided support for both students and faculty in the use of class registration system. Maintained engineering department degree auditing system (DARS). Part-time position. 

May 04 to Feb 06 - Office Automation Assistant, USMA, West Point, NY [usma.edu/dhpw/emd]
Updated Environmental Management Division website for ISO 14001 compliance, assisted IT department with administrating IIS servers, provided support for Microsoft Office products and facilitated the adoption of several new computer systems. Seasonal internship.
